If you have a kindergartener today, by the time they are preparing to go to high school, Elgin ISD enrollment
is projected to at least double. In fact, it could triple.

The Elgin ISD Citizens’ Bond Committee studied the most recent demographic and enrollment projections before putting together their 2024 bond recommendations.
The bond proposal calls for a new elementary school, a new middle school, and additional space at the high school to accommodate this growth.

77% of the total bond package is dedicated to additional learning spaces for our growing enrollment.
